Tanya - Business and Economics

Tania is a qualified Business and Economics Teacher. With 19 years teaching experience in business and economics delivering IB Diploma, IBCP, BTEC, A Level, GCSE and IGCSE in Business and Economics.

Tania has Examiners experience in IBDP Business Management, IBCP Reflective Project, IBDP Extended Essay, Cambridge IGCSE Enterprise and Edexcel IGCSE Business Studies.

Tania has over 15 years of leadership experience including IBDP and IBCP Coordinator, Head of Year, and Director of Business Studies.

Tania has worked in UK leading state schools and International schools in Africa, South East Asia, Middle East and Europe.

Gordon - Chemistry and Science

Gordon has over 40 years teaching experience in Chemistry and Science at IB Diploma, IGCSE, GCSE, International A Level and A Level. Gordon also has extensive experience in teaching primary education at all levels.

Gordon was head teacher for 8 years at St. Andrews International High School in Malawi and towards the end of his teaching career he was Deputy Head Teacher at Phoenix International Primary School, Malawi.

With 14 years state school experience in the UK and experience of International schools in Africa, Asia and Central America. Gordon is a highly skilled, experienced and dedicated Teacher and Tutor.

Lora - Chemistry, Maths and Science

Lora has a degree In Chemistry from the University of Exeter. She is a qualified Maths and Science teacher and is a highly skilled tutor in all sciences and maths with over 35 years of teaching and tutoring experience. She has been an examiner in Sats, GCSE, A level and International Baccalaureate. In addition, she compiled GCSE examination questions for an examination board.

Lora set up her own highly successful tutoring company Manor Bridge Tutors based in Devon UK in 1995 after leaving a 17-year Teaching Career. She sold her tutoring company in 2010. She now continues to tutor and is tutoring with us at International Tutorial College.

Her Tutoring company specialised in Maths, all the sciences at Key Stage 3, IGCSE, GCSE and A Level maths and all sciences. She also set up and managed a Kumon Maths Centre in Tavistock and Barnstaple Devon. In addition, Lora has Tutoring experience of 11+ and Primary Education Tutoring.

Lora also had a 17-year teaching career during which she was Head of Science and Maths at a leading Independent School. From her success as a head of department she became Senior Mistress, Head of Sixth Form and was a member of the School’s Senior Management Team.

Adam - English and TEFL

Adam is an experienced tutor in English and an experienced qualified TEFL Instructor. Originally a graduate in Law from Johannesburg University this has allowed him to focus his skills in teaching English to a very high standard.

Tina - Computing, ICT, Computer Science, Business and Economics

Tina is an experienced teacher and tutor of Computing, ICT, Computer Science, Business and Economics. Tina has over 24 years of experience in teaching IGCSE, GCSE, International A Level and A level.

Tina has experience in state schools and colleges in the UK but also extensive experience in top International Schools in Africa, Thailand, Caracus and Bermuda,

Tina is also an experienced school leader holding positions as head of department, head of faculty and head of whole school ICT. In addition she spent many years as a teacher trainer.
